Kris Project

Kris Project was born in 2019 with the aim of contributing to the service of the disposal of special/dangerous waste in accordance with the most stringent environmental protection rules in place in Europe.

Our company PRAHA GLOBAL COLSULTANCY SRO, employing highly qualified employees, has developed and filed patent documents for a fully mobile waste treatment plant, whose distinctive feature is its complete mobility being mounted on trailers and skids.

It is about a rotating oven-based plant equipped with an advanced smoke abatement system and therefore capable of burning waste of any kind (urban, industrial, pharmaceutical hospitals) and in any form (solids, liquids, sludge).

The plant is designed to be mounted in a forecourt with a limited footprint of less than 2000 square meters. The electricity requirement is 450 KW installed, with the possibility of self-feed in the turbo-alternator version.

The system can operate continuously (24 hours) for 300 days per year, which corresponds to about 8000 hours.
Emissions from the plant are well below the strictest EU parameters (pollution).

Finally, the continuous monitoring system on chimney emissions is very qualifying, because the plant would automatically stop if the limits were exceeded.

In particular, controlled combustion in each parameter allows for inert waste.
The size (which should be expressed in the heating capacity of the oven, because the quantities depend on the calorific power of the burnt waste) amounts to 5,800,000 kcal/hour, with a treated material flow of 3 t/h according to the PCI of the treated material and a range of fumes of 23000 Nm3/h.

Depending on the needs/opportunities (logistical or tariff), with the only constraint not to be exceeded, is the specified calorific power, you can burn any combination of waste; with a constant presence of waste with low calorific power, including, if necessary, the possibility of limited methane integration, in waste conditions such as contaminated soil. In addition, the rotary oven is made in such a way as to allow a production of thermal energy by burning the most varied types of waste taking full advantage of the characteristics of the plates that line it internally and ensure a high quality of the resulting waste after combustion.

The system can be chosen in two configurations A and B:
A : with the help of a turbo-alternator, the thermal and kinetic energy of the steam generated in the boiler is converted into mechanical energy in turbine and in turn converted into electricity in the alternator, guaranteeing an energy production of about 1.5 MWe.
B: thermal energy from steam generated in the boiler can be used for various purposes, such as district heating or industrial use.

Mobility is the main feature of the Kris system, designed and sized with the highest degree of axing and in such a way that it is installed directly on semi-trailers, suitable for free transport by road. The engineering of the Kris project also provides for it to be installed without ancillary infrastructure.
